8AM B had Football pictures and a 10 Am game

We didn't win but we held our own especially the 2nd half!

I am so proud of B he does not want to play next year but still gives 100% every game!

Here in Missouri it was very wet on Satruday night and most of Sunday.

Lots of flash flooding.

It seems this is the worst flash flooding we have had.

Places that are not even in flood zones!

I am a fortunate on the has not had any.

I found an awesome blog by chance I left a comment on her layout on two peas and

she checked out my blog and when I clicked on her name it took me to hers!

Welcome to my crazy life...

Friday the nurse at my youngest sons (7) school calls and he has a swollen upper lip for no apparent reason . He gets dropped of at the sitters very early and lays back down and sleeps a bit and when he got up it was swollen(OMG it was hughe?!?!?). Dr. said he must of ate something he is allergic to (even though he has not had anything different than usual ad he is not allergic to anything but ALLERGIES) !?!?!

Saturday youngest son had a football game (lost 36-6)

Saturday Evening I went to my friends Jenn's and cropped for 5 Hours (yeah)

THIS WAS 5 HOURS OF HEAVEN...GIRLIE MOVIES AND GIRLIE CONVERSATION AND AWESOME FOOD AND FRIENDS

Sunday my oldest son (15) dropped a huge piece of wood on his big toe and fractured it. The entire thing is black and blue (EWWWWW it was horrible but of course I put on my MOM face and said oh, it's not that bad). We took him eto St. Anthonys urgent care where the took xrays and he sweet talked the nurse in giving him a copy (I am sure that I will be the one paying for that later).

Sunday evening my youngest wakes up sick. Between his sick spells we were up all night watching toons (gotta love the toons).

Monday me and youngest stay home from work and school (not as fun as you would think a day of hooky would be).

Tuesday youngest goes back to school and around 11:30 I got a call from the nurse (I am sure she knows my number by heart now) " Your sons throat hurts and he is not feeling well" OK let me call his Dr and figure this out. I call the Dr and of course she wants to see him (gotta get those copays). My mother (even though she was just getting ready for a nap?!?! must be nice) in law takes him so that I don't have to take of work again. "VIRUS". Funny thing I feel like that is the Dr's answer to everything (as stated before gotta get those copays).

He said he was feeling good enough to go to football practice. He did do very well at practice.

Wednesday (today) I have to take the oldest in to an Orthopedic Dr. (gotta get the copays and waste a ton of gas becuse now I have to get another copy of the xray because I don't have the heart to take the one my son sweet talked the nurse itno giving him)

WOW.......welcome to another day in my crazy life!!!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful extended weekend!

We did we had Family pictures at Bee Tree Park which turned out AWESOME!

Didn't have time to save them to post but I will try before this weekend!

Besides family pictures with my husbands large family of 20

we had lots of BBQ and swimming!

Took full advantage of the beautiful weekend!

My plan was made during the day. I tore my scrap studio up this weekend trying to add things from storage (I thought I had alot of storage space..not so much) and my studio was a huge mess. I did get to finish my Halloween Chipboard book. Anyway...my plan was to hurry home and clean, clean, clean my studio. so I was all excited and 10 minutes before time to leave work my husband calls....I'm working late...Ok change of plans...Pick up Brendan...Pick up dinner....Set Brendan down to do homework....Then husband comes home and we eat dinner...Then like a flick of a switch I'm in comfy clothes cleaning my studio.....It is so clean and ready for DH to finish it. Football the next three nights so hopefully this weekend...fingers and toes crossed.

Hmmmm maybe if I'm really nice :)

So sorry that I have been slacking on the blog! I am having huge computer issues at home and hope to have them resolved soon. I currently am unable to add any new pics. I do have a couple of new classes added but you will have to go in to see for now.

We are this much closer still a few thing that need to be done. I still have two upper cabinets that need to be put up, laminet counter on the 4 x 8 island (woo hoo) ceiling to be taped, mudded and painted, cabinet baseboard put up...etc. The large cabinet will hold a minifridge that I already have. My husband needs to add a sturdy base for it to sit on still. The counter on the des will eventually be changed so that it matches. YEAH!!! I was so excited that I could not wait until it was done to add pictures.This was done on a very limited budget!!! I teach classes at a For Keeps Sake and that check has went to purchase everything for this room! Cabinets were free so that helped ALOT. You can see the before in a previous post.

We seen a black bear and a deer up close and personal, White water rafting should be experienced by EVERYONE and the Smokey Mountains were stunning!

The weather was beautiful again.

The cabinets have been painted for my scrap room and completed and

I am having regrets of the color I have picked.

My husband needs to find a taper to tape and mud the walls

We will be leaving for vacation on Wednesday so no posts for a while.

We are going to Gaitlynberg, TN for white water rafting and four wheeling through the mountains. Yeah....

Still waiting for My dear husband to

install the recessed lighting so that we (hee, hee, heee..)

I mean my dear husband can drywall.

Trust me when I was preparing for my last class and

couldn't find half of my things I let him know!

Half of our master bedroom is now my scrap space,

some of my stuff is down in our storage area which is now taken

over by my son's bedroom furniture so the basement

can be finished and some of my scrap stuff is in the office.

Very Frustrating when I am preparing for classes!!!

Hopefully I will be able to give a positive scrap studio update soon!!!

OK, so I know the cabinets are really dated! But when I am done you will be very suprised!!! I have decided to go with the shabby chic look! The rest of my house is Kind of Tuscan Style. So this will be my getaway girlie retreat! I am so excited. So the next step is my husband needs to put in the light boxes and move a couple of the outlets. We just put the cabinets in and moved them around to see which way they will work best. Once the light boxes are in and the outlets are moved drywall will be able to go up!! I already started working on painting the cabinets but it is a secret for now! I will share later. The second picture is of a cabinet that I have two of and the will become an island.

Needless to say I am so EXCITED!!!

Fathers Day Weekend...

I hope that everyone was able to spend some time with there fathers on Sunday. It was beautiful day out and I barbequed for my father and husband while they lounged in the pool all day! It was a beautiful day out and they actually got to relax which is something that neither of them do hardly ever. It was a great time for all!

SEX AND THE CITY..... Oh my goodness! This was the most I have laughed in a loooong time! I went with two of my sister in laws and it was great! A little embarrassing at moments. (Future reference....don't go with family members unless you are very close...like really close...like as close as best girlfriends) Anyway it was such a good time! I would pay to see it again! So grab your best girlfriends and go see it! Don't worry if you never watched it on TV they do a little dialog in the beginning to help you out.

It is so nice to know that everyone else enjoys having him around them as much as I do!

His humor is awesome and he does make my life so much more enjoyable EVERYDAY!!!

A Wonderful Weekend

Ok so my pictures of the Arch got to me. I have not been there in years and my youngest has been wanting to go so.....we called Grandpa (sure he hadn't been in ahile) and asked if he wanted to go with us to the Arch and off we went. Come to find out it is the FIRST time my father has even been there EVER! How great is that. I actually got to take my father to a first it was pretty neat. You could tell it meant alot to him.We watched a movie on how it was built (all but my husband he was snoring) and we went to the top. I forgot how amazing it is!It was extremly beautiful out and the view was AMAZING!

This is my DT layout which is displayed at For Keep Sake. all items can be purchased in the store. I used Fancy Pants papers, diecuts and rub-ons. To cut the circles I used the fiscars circle cutter. It is awesome! I love it all!

Until April 5th I was a CKC virgin!

Thanks to my wonderful friend Jen for introducing

me to this wonderful place!

Although if my dear hubby knew how bad we tore up

the Technique Tuesday he wouldn't be a happy hubby!

But we had a FABULOUS time and that's all that matters!!
